SELFLESS TRIPS

Young Glory 2018 submission (Expedia)

People in Japan don’t take vacations, with a study showing that they only use 50% off their allocated leave, while 63% of Japanese felt guilty for taking paid leave. Some workers think not going on vacation benefits their careers, their coworkers and their company. But truth is, a culture of overwork decreases personal happiness, community morale and company-wide productivity.

Other than the obvious human implications, fewer people taking vacation also means fewer people are using online travel booking sites. So how can we encourage Japanese people to take their vacations and book their trips on Expedia?
